The Zeta Epsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is hosting a FREE financial literacy workshop, led by Celestine Grier and Tamekia Fallin, to help the community learn more about debt elimination, increasing your discretionary income, managing your money and 24 ways to reduce spending.
We are pleased to have a two dynamic speakers: Celestine Grier and Tamekia Fallin.
Celestine Grier is a motivated, personable business professional with over 24 years of experience in the financial industry. The majority of her career has been working in the Commercial Property & Casualty industry as an Account Executive, helping clients adequately protect their assets through risk management, marketing their insurance programs, and negotiating insurance renewal premiums. She always had a passion for helping people and later discovered her true love as a Financial Professional and Educator after being introduced to WFG/WSB, a financial literacy organization. After joining the organization, she equipped herself with financial knowledge and changed her family’s future outlook. She is now helping to guide people across the United States by educating and training them on building a financial foundation so they can have a future of financial security.
Tamekia Fallin has always possessed a huge heart for people. After many years of ups and downs, searching for her path across industries, and doing everything from Government IT Contracting (Top Secret Clearance) to managing Telesales and Customer Service departments, she discovered her true passion for helping people in the Financial Industry as a Financial Professional and Educator. Like many people in the US, Tamekia’s family struggled financially. Her parents modeled for her how to go to school, get a job and work hard for money. Even though she knew how to work hard for money, no one ever educated her on how to make money work for her. Then one day, Tamekia was introduced to WFG/WSB, a financial literacy organization. The financial concepts, principles and tools gained through this platform were life changing. As a result of the world class training (Taught at Harvard and the FBI) and support, she became an expert regarding all major areas of personal finance and equipped with the financial know-how to change her financial future. She, now, helps people all over North America learn and apply those same financial principles to build a solid financial foundation. Tamekia understands that Financial Security is a great equalizer and empowers others to take control over their future. She also understands that we must change our lives first and then, we can change the world.
